House of Wolf is fortunate to be able to offer programming with Karen Nicloux, a well-known member of the Yukon First Nations. Karen is here to provide support to the marginalized members and vulnerable population within Whitehorse.
Spending 8 hours a week with clients from the shelter, Karen provides a safe space to bead, sew, share food, participate in arts and crafts, and talk through hardships of those she spends time with.
House of Wolf is pleased to collaborate with the Gatensby brothers to offer the Gathering Power Training. This training is created to help those who are bound by a negative program, both psychological and emotional in nature, to free themselves from patterns of self-destruction, family violence, and negative social behaviours.
Broken down into four distinct stages, this training is over a four-day period, each day addressing a different phase: Breaking the Illusion, Being Human, Identifying Patterns, and Gathering Power.
This training will be facilitated by Harold and Philip Gatensby with the training taking place on February 14th to 17th at the Yukon Inn Willow Room and again from March 7th to the 10th.
